During the Spring Term (Jan to Easter) the children have had many great opportunities to take part in some amazing activities, both in the classroom and also outside of the classroom . We welcomed the Mobile Zoo where the children had the chance to hold or touch many different animals.
The children have had a few walks to the shop to purchase our healthy ingredients for our cooking activities. One group were fortunate enough to meet the community speed awareness team who let them have a turn at aiming the speed gun .
The children have taken part in Penguin appreciation day, cooking activities, painting using the brushes with their feet, taken part in sessions with Coach Jay and a few of the children went to OSA to watch Frozen.
We have been out in the community with regular walks and have also been litter picking.
We celebrated World Book Day...dressing up as characters from Room on the Broom and also had a visit from 2 local authors, Mother's Day (with an afternoon tea and story) and invited parents and carers to our Easter Stay and Play
Some of the children visited Roy's to receive a very kind donation from them of £250.
The children have been thinking about our climate and we have been putting our food waste in the correct bin and have collected lots of clothes for recycling.
We have also celebrated 🥳 Kim's 20th Anniversary as playgroup leader/manager with some very yummy cake.
